sup everybody :)...one of my resolutions was to update my website more so here goes it! the year 2007 was much like life in general-it was both great and sucked at the same time. being the optimist that i am i chose to draw good from it all, and in the process recognized another passion that i didn't know i had, which is volunteering. i now belong to big brothers big sisters (www.bbbsemo.org) and this experience is changing the course of my life.i always knew it was my duty to give back and knew eventually i'd find a structured way to do so, but i never knew that i would get this immense feeling of joy ( nor did i know becoming a volunteer would make me use corny words like "joy" lol). u know me...im high energy, im dedicated and passionate, im an intense perfectionist yet easy to laugh out loud....and one thing i discovered in 2007 is that i am utterly and truly happy and blessed, and i recognized this in the face of a truly negative 12-month long experience (lawsuit, which i ended up winning YEAH!!) Constantly meeting with the attorneys was terrible, but once i'd leave it helped me realize that outside of that situation my life is bliss.then i began volunteering and something else happened that i hadn't imagined- i became even MORE happy with this purposeful peace within me that is indescribable. im now in love with my 1/2 crappy year that was 2007, because it made me wiser, better, faster, stronger. as my mom says "God has to trust you with a little, before he trusts you with alot".imagine that?... happy new year everybody, and thank you for checking out my site.
